About us
We are a dedicated team of education pioneers with diverse backgrounds and life experiences. From this diversity, we reinvent education in collaboration with universities and schools to help move our education system forward. Our goal is to make every teacher the best in the world.
ContactWho are we?
Ralph Forsbach
CEO
Ralph is the conductor of our orchestra. Alongside his broad business and leadership experience (MiM HEC & MBI HSG), Ralph is also driven by the memory of how discovering relevant, motivating education transformed his own life. Since then, education has been his great passion.
Eric Dvorsak
CTO
As head of our development team, Eric translates ideas and visions into structure, architecture, and code. His years of experience as CTO at Huddles and his willingness to test new ideas in open discussions with the whole team help him do this.
Leo Flechsenberger
Director of Sales
Leo brings a lot of leadership experience in sales to Brian, but his main skill isn’t selling — it’s listening. He knows we learn from our teachers every day: what they want, where they need support. Only this way can we develop close to our users and unlock Brian’s full potential.
Dr. Dan Vyleta
Director of Education
Dan brings his decades of international experience in higher education (UWM, University of Birmingham) and his work as a writer to Brian to keep questioning education creatively. As a humanities scholar, his main focus is promoting critical and creative thinking at all levels of teaching.
What we believe
We believe in adaptive education tailored to each learner, the learning situation, and the specific learning moment. In this environment, learners can reach their potential and teachers can bring in their creativity.
People must be at the center of education. Thoughtfully designed AI tools, embedded in educational institutions, help create more space for human-to-human interaction in the classroom — not replace it.
To strengthen education means to strengthen democracy. We want to learn the way we want to live together: connected, equal, open to discussion, and appreciated in our uniqueness.
Our vision for a fair future of education
Learn actively, individually, and with a focus on competencies
We believe learning only sticks through active engagement: forming thoughts, dialogue, and questioning. This shows in regular formative exercises that build competencies rather than test memory. Learning should feel like discovery — not like ticking boxes.
Joy and relevance – learning should make us happy
Every teacher knows: only motivated learners are truly good learners. To motivate them, learning must be fun, spark curiosity, build confidence, and feel personally relevant. That means learning should be interactive and playful, and the learning space must feel inviting and friendly. Materials should be adaptive, course-relevant, and engaging — and teachers need easy tools to create them.
Responsible AI that empowers, not replaces teachers
Responsible use of AI is non-negotiable. Along with strict data protection, AI must be transparent, verifiable, and adaptable for each teacher’s context. AI should fit the needs of the teacher — not the other way around.
Great education supports individuality and creativity – not just in learners
Educational structures should allow creativity to thrive — not suppress it. Our goal is to make creative teaching and learning intuitive, so it actually simplifies everyday work and adds a spark of magic. That’s how we protect teachers from burnout and help them rediscover their content again and again.
Closing learning gaps through inclusive education
Around-the-clock support that even underserved learners can access helps close learning gaps and strengthens democracy. In the 21st century, we need more than just libraries and open websites — we need tools that teach us, step by step, at our own pace and level.
Our initiatives
1.
AI literacy for all
In the age of AI, it’s crucial for everyone to understand how AI works, what it can do, and where its limits are. For teachers, this is even more important, as most learners already use AI — often without being aware of the risks. That’s why we offer a free AI literacy course for all teachers.
2.
Environmental and climate protection
AI consumes energy, and our global energy use has major implications for the environment. We cannot and will not ignore this. That’s why we contribute to climate protection and support projects that make AI more efficient and greener — for a sustainable future.
